    • 1. How do I redeem my points?

      Redeeming is easy.

      If you're enrolled in online services, visit membershiprewards.com.au and search for your reward, click 'redeem', sign in and proceed through to the confirmation page making sure you complete all mandatory fields.

      If you've received a promotion, you will find a reward code promoted. If you're enrolled in online services, visit membershiprewards.com.au and enter the reward code in the search field, sign in, check the points value is the same as the promotion, click 'redeem' and proceed through to the confirmation page making sure you complete all mandatory fields.

    • 3. How do I transfer my points?

      Transferring your points to a participating Airline Rewards or Frequent Guest partner program is easy.

      Before you can transfer points to a participating partner, you will need to register your membership number. To do this, log into your account and link your membership number with that partner (e.g. Velocity Membership number) to your Membership Rewards account. This information will be saved and you can transfer points to any of your available partners. Then, all you have to do is contact the airline or hotel directly to make your travel arrangements.

      HINT: Partners often promote bonuses to transfer points to their program. Most partner programs are free to register and by having the choice of when, and with whom to transfer, you will get more from your Membership Rewards points.     • 4. How long does it take to transfer points into my participating Airline Rewards or Frequent Guest program account?

      Most transfers take between 1 - 3 days. However, to avoid any unnecessary delay, it's best you allow 5 business days. Please check the Terms & Conditions for your partner to ensure you allow sufficient time to transfer your points.

    • 5. Can I transfer points into someone else's Airline Rewards or Frequent Guest account?

      No, Membership Rewards points can only be transferred by you into an account in your name. For more details, see Terms and Conditions.

    • 6. Does Membership Rewards automatically transfer points to my Airline Rewards or Frequent Guest account?

      No, If you want to transfer your points to your eligible Airline Rewards or Frequent Guest program you must first register your membership number with us and then login onto Online Services to process the transfer.

    • 7. I've transferred points from my Membership Rewards program to my Airline Rewards/Frequent Guest account but I can't get the booking I want. Can I transfer them back?

      No. Point transfers to Airline Rewards and Frequent Guest partner program are irreversible.

    • 8. What if I like a reward and do not have enough points?

      Many of our rewards provide the option for you to pay with a combination of points plus a payment on your Card*.

      If travel rewards are what you're after, you can use your points online at American Express Travel Online, Webjet or in-store at helloworld and pay the remaining balance on your Card.

      Please note that you will not be awarded points for the pay portion of a Points + Pay redemption.

      * Points may be redeemed by the Card Member for a credit on the Primary Card Account. American Express may decline a Points for Credit request where the Card Account or Card Member's other accounts with American Express are not in good standing. The redemption of Points for Credit will be administered solely by American Express within 3 business days and cannot be reversed. Redeeming Points for Credit is not available for redemption by Corporate Card accounts and is not redeemable for cash via Credit balance refund.

    • 9. Can anyone else use my points?

      Points may be redeemed for non-frequent traveller rewards by any Supplementary Card Member and/or other third parties only when we have received prior written authorisation from you and your accounts are in good standing.

      The travel rewards you redeem using points may be booked for any person, provided all your accounts are active and kept in good standing and are not overdue.

      Not applicable for Corporate Card Members.

    • 10. How long does it take to process my order?

      We will process your request as quickly as possible*. Please note:

      - For Standard deliveries, David Jones will endeavour to despatch merchandise within one business day from your order date. Your parcel should reach you within 3-7 business days from the David Jones Fulfilment Centre in Sydney. Deliveries to regional areas may take longer.
      - Gift Cards within 7 business days.
      - Transfer rewards take up to 5 business days.
      - Select & Pay with Points and Points for Credit requests take approximately 3 business days

      * Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards program.

    • 11. How long is my Gift Card valid for?

      Gift Cards are valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.

    • 12. What do I do if I have not received a Gift Card or merchandise item in the time frame advised?

      For Gift Cards, please call our Membership Rewards team on 1300 363 276 and we will be able to investigate it further for you. For non-received merchandise redeemed at David Jones online you can contact the David Jones Online Customer Service Centre on 1800 354 663 between 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday (EST) for all Online Order enquiries.

    • 13. Are there any restrictions as to when I can use my Gift Card?

      You must use your Gift Card before the expiry date. Also, with a few rewards, including hotel and car rental vouchers, there are times during the year when availability is limited. Your Gift Card will give you details. For hotel availability, please speak directly to the hotel.

    • 14. Can I transfer my Corporate Membership Rewards fee to my personal Card?

      Unfortunately, we do not advise nor can we allow you to transfer your Corporate Card fee to your personal Card.

    • 15. Can I send items to a different address or someone else?

      Yes. You can change the name and address at checkout. However, please note that rewards cannot be delivered to a PO Box or outside Australia.

    • 16. How do I return unwanted items?

      As per the Membership Rewards terms and conditions, Membership Rewards points cannot be refunded once used to make purchases at David Jones Online. For the David Jones Returns Policy please refer to www.davidjones.com.au/Return-policy. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase made using Membership Rewards points, you can return it to any David Jones store or to the address below with your proof of purchase and David Jones will provide you with Returns Card to the value of the item being returned, in Australian dollars. The Returns Card may be used to make purchases at any David Jones store in Australia, excluding the online webstore.

      For products purchased online, you may return the item by sending it to:

      Please include your completed Return Slip on the back of your Proof of Purchase with your goods. A Customer Relations Online Assistant will call you to process your return once the goods have been received.     • 17. Can orders be shipped overseas or to a PO Box?

      Orders can only be shipped to an Australian address. Orders cannot be shipped to PO Boxes.

    • 18. Can I use my points for merchandise not available online?

      Yes, as long as you hold a personal Card and have an existing points balance of more than 100,000 points you can contact Rewards Concierge on 1300 731 794 to redeem for virtually anything you desire.

    • 19. I have multiple cards linked in the one Membership Rewards program. When I redeem my points for credit which Card does the credit go to?

      The credit goes to the your primary account that is set up as the fee account which means the card that actually gets charged the Membership Rewards fee gets the credit^.

      Not applicable for Corporate Card Members.
